Desert Queens was born from friendship, and from a lifetime spent in the world of hospitality.

We are two friends, one Australian, one American, living as expats in Dubai, and above all, mothers. Our husbands have each spent over 25 years building careers in hospitality, and for just as long, we have stood beside them: the quiet backbone behind the scenes, present for the late nights, the high-pressure openings, and the unforgettable moments that most guests never see.

That world taught us something you cannot learn any other way. Hospitality is a small world. Once you're truly in it, you stay in it, and over the years we have built genuine relationships with the people who make extraordinary experiences possible, from general managers and maître d's to the industry's most respected names. These are not contacts we found in a directory. They are relationships built on trust, time, and mutual respect.
